Choose this appointment if you are interested in applying for the Medallion Relief Program. Legal service appointments are tailored to medallion owner-drivers offering a review by legal professionals of loan agreements, renegotiate relevant financing agreements, challenge debt collections or judgements, or file for bankruptcy if appropriate.
This unit accepts complaints of TLC rule violations from one Licensee against another Licensee. Examples are: Driver making a complaint against a Base for non-payment of earnings, Driver making a complaint against a vehicle owner for overcharge (requirement of costs and fees not included in the lease), Medallion owner complaining against Agent for non-payment of taxes. This unit does not provide financial/loan counseling, assistance with TLC summonses/settlements or assistance with Licensing inquiries.
